Hi. We’re Trellis Society

We're here to grow a community where everyone can flourish.

One organization. Countless ways to help.

Trellis took root by bringing the best of two organizations together with a vision of providing more services that support people to grow and flourish in all areas of their lives.

Through strengthening economic stability, well-being, mental health and belonging, thousands of people each year are supported to exit poverty, navigate out of crisis and move from isolation into community.

Vision

A community where everyone can flourish.

Purpose

We support growth across generations.

Values

Impact: We go beyond what seems doable and prove growth is possible.

Learning: We choose to grow through uncertainty, even when the status quo feels easier.

Courage: We willingly embrace growth and don’t see it as optional.

Empathy: We relentlessly care about the growth of others and won’t let anyone go unsupported.

Where we’re growing

Our relentless desire to better serve the community pushes us to always evaluate the work we do and how we do it. We are thrilled to release our 2023-2026 Strategic Plan!

SET to Grow means we will act boldly and see challenges as opportunities to innovate and think differently.

Guided by experience

As a community-based organization, we lean on passionate professionals, board members and Knowledge Keepers for guidance and expertise.

These committed difference-makers give countless hours in support of our mission to unlock human potential.

Four corners and beyond

Trellis provides services in every quadrant of Calgary and in surrounding communities.

We expand our reach by working with committed partners, including funders and other agencies who share our values and further our expertise.
