We have been fortunate to reconnect with over 150 Boys and Girls Town alumni from this era, and collected wonderfulstories, memorabilia and photos.  During the 1940's camping was a favourite Boys and Girls Town activity.  Local camps and hikes were done west of the city, and occasionally at the YMCA Camp at Hector, and at Sylvan Lake.
