Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada hosted a national conference in Calgary over the Victoria Day week-end, with 325 guests from across the country.  At the closing Gala Dinner, Cheryl Doherty, Executive Director of Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, was honored for 35 years of service.  The award recognized not just her leadership in the Calgary organization and the community of Calgary, but she received a standing ovation for her leadership across Canada.
