Rotary Club Supports Children, Youth and Families

Diane Reid accepts a cheque from Laily Pirbhai, member of The Rotary Club of Calgary. The gift will purchase a bus to transport children, youth and families to agency locations and programs.

The Rotary Club of Calgary, along with the Chief of Police, recognized in 1939 that Calgary had a “Boys” problem, and created the Rotary Boys Town, which over 71 years has evolved into Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, so the two organizations share a long history!
