Community Clubs and Experiential Learning

Since the first Calgary Club opened in 1939, we have been committed to supporting the children, youth and families in communities affected by complex social and economic issues. Today, our seven Community Clubs provide a safe and positive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities that develop confidence, skills for life and encourage positive relationships. Community Clubs are designed to be a support system for the entire family, by providing diverse opportunities to learn, connect and have fun. Club activities respond to the interests of children, youth and families. Programs focus on building skills in areas including education, employment and physical, visual and emotional literacy. Program activities include:

  • Cooking
  • Theatrical Arts
  • Painting and Drawing
  • Physically Active Games
  • Sports
  • Educational Supports
  • Leadership training
  • Career Development

...and more!
