The Hangar is a safe place that helps build a positive sense of self through supportive adult mentors and engaging activities that challenge and enrich the mind, body and spirit of each member. Club programs focus on building life skills, and social and emotional competencies.
Facility and Program Update:
As of September 1st, 2017, the Hangar will not be continuing with registered after-school programs. If you are looking for after-school programming, please check out our other city-wide Club locations. For opportunities to participate in programs at the Hangar, please read below.
Hangar Climbing Program
The Hangar will be offering registered climbing programs Winter 2018 for youth ages 6-15. Programs will focus on top-rope climbing, bouldering and belaying in a safe, supportive environment. Kids will build confidence and develop positive relationships as they learn how to put on a harness, tie climbing knots and learn various climbing techniques. Hangar Music Studio Program
In this exciting new BGCC program, your youth will learn how to create, write and record a rap song with a professional hip-hop artist! Plus film a music video to take home!
