Maestro
Maestro is a 30 hour per week PAID program for youth struggling with employment. Using arts as a medium for learning youth acquire the life and employability skills required for successful transition to the workplace in a group based setting. Youth also receive individual support and coaching from their Job Coach.
Maestro program offers three distinct program options:- Group Based Employability Skills (10 weeks)
- Employability Skills through Work Experience (4 weeks)
- Work Experience placements (10 weeks)
The Employability Skills programs are available twice per year. The Maestro Work Experience program offers on-going placements throughout the year.
Who is eligible for Maestro?
- Individuals 15-30 years old
- Not currently enrolled in school
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee status has been conferred
- Must be Legally entitled to work in Canada
