SASS - Stoked About Staying in School

SASS is for youth who have dropped out of school, and who now have the drive and desire to GO BACK! What is SASS?

-    SASS is a 30 hour a week PAID program. (minimum wage)
-    SASS will be running from November 30 to February 10th. At that point they will transition back into school with help from their SASS workers
-    SASS focuses on teaching life skills, employability skills, and academic skills
-    SASS primarily runs in the 6 hours of  daily program time, but also handles some case management as well
-    SASS will be running out of the Pineridge Club with some exceptions where we will be placed at Beltline or Hangar
-    SASS will provide bus passes for our youth as well as some healthy meals throughout the week

Who is eligible for SASS?

-    Must be 15-18 years old
-    Not currently enrolled in school
-    Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee status has been conferred
-    Legally entitled to work in Canada
