Through our Shelter services, Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary provides temporary or urgent support for youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
If you are a youth (ages 12-17) in need of a safe place to stay, please come to Avenue 15. Located at 938 – 15 Avenue SW, Avenue 15 is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Avenue 15 provides youth experiencing homelessness with temporary shelter and basic needs, as well as a comprehensive support system to assist them in reuniting with their families or finding alternative living arrangements. Avenue 15 provides 3 programs (Link & Launch) to support youth with the opportunities to gain the skills and stability to reunify with family or be successful in other living arrangements.

What programs are offered at Avenue 15?
Link provides shelter and support in reconnecting with your family and/or community long-term supports through family mediation, school, work, recreation, healthy living and life skill development. Link is open 24 hours/day and accessed through the front entrance of Avenue 15.
Launch provides shelter and support as youth work toward independent living through school, employment support, money management, recreation, healthy living and life skill development. The program is accessed by appointment.

- Males and females ages 15-17
- Must have status through Child and Family Services
- Be willing to participate in service planning and to create a safe environment
