On January 26th, 2017 Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary bid farewell to CEO, Cheryl Doherty.
The evening held at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary’s Renfrew Hangar consisted of memories, stories, and well wishes to Cheryl in her retirement.
Cheryl will be leaving a strong, innovative and responsive organization that has been serving the needs of our community for 77 years in Calgary, and last year served more than 21,000 children, youth and their families, along with 300 staff and 700 volunteers.
Cheryl now passes the torch to incoming CEO, Jeff Dyer. From the start, in 1939, we have continued to deliver outstanding programs to some of our city’s most vulnerable people. As we start the next leg of our journey as an organization, we are excited to follow Jeff’s lead.
