We believe that volunteering is a two-way relationship. Opportunities need to be a good fit for our programs and clients, but also for our volunteers. We offer various types of involvement that require different time commitments, skills and experiences.

There are many different volunteer opportunities at Boys and Girls Clubs. We are always looking for program support, program leaders and the occasional helping hand. These postings will provide you with detailed information on the program, type of position, qualifications needed, type of involvement and more.

Volunteer as an individual, a couple or family, a group of friends or co-workers. We can make volunteering work for you.

We value innovation and creativity. We are always open to exploring opportunities with volunteers who wish to be leaders within their community. We have had community leaders deliver art programs, music programs, self defense classes, photography projects and so much more.

Originally founded by volunteers, Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary has been providing safe and positive places for children, youth and families in Calgary since 1939. Our positive impact on the communities we serve would not be possible without the dedication, passion and commitment of our volunteers. They are the heart and soul of Boys and Girls Clubs. We believe that every individual who shares their time, heart, skills and interests with another helps our communities to reach their potential and make this world a better place!
