Days of Caring

A Corporate Challenge
Are you looking for ways to involve your company and its employees in activities that make a difference in the community? The United Way's Days of Caring program may be just what you're looking for. Days of Caring is a 'from-the-heart' kind of philanthropy that builds community partnerships. It's a great way to encourage your employees to make a positive impact in their community by helping local agencies like Boys and Girls Clubs.
There are many ways to get involved:
- spend a day planting and landscaping
- provide a training session to non-profit staff
- plan and host a party for kids
- renovate and decorate living space for youth at our supportive housing facilities
The United Way can help your company select and tailor a project for 2 to 200 people. To explore the possibilities contact the United Way at http://www.calgaryunitedway.org/you-can-help/day-of-caring.html
"What a feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day! Working at an agency has helped our employees see that they can make a difference in the community."
