Working with the community means working in the community. We collaborate with many partners to deliver programs in people’s homes and community spaces.
1000 Voices
Our flagship community program is a place to come together.
Located in the Genesis Centre, 1000 Voices is home to more than 60 community groups and service providers whose services include:
Job training
Settlement services for newcomers
Youth programs
Seniors programs
We also offer meeting rooms, event space, counselling rooms, and flexible office space.
The Maple
The Maple is permanent supportive housing for female-identifying adults over the age of 25 who have experienced chronic homelessness.
We believe everyone deserves a home and the opportunity to rebuild their lives, regardless of addictions and mental health issues often caused by past trauma.
Community Development
Trellis’ Community Development team works with resident-led groups and community organizations to build resource networks.
The support we offer includes:

Building capacity
Providing opportunities for volunteerism and leadership
